What we do

Florian's van is a full mobile tyre workshop based in Lacanau, on France's Atlantic coast. We repair punctures on the spot when the tyre carcass allows it, or fit a new pair when it doesn't — tyres are always sold and fitted in pairs on the same axle, for safe, even braking. We also test and replace 12V batteries, and fit spare wheels. We never tow vehicles: the goal is always to get you driving again from exactly where you stopped.

We come to the car park, the campsite or the hotel

You don't need to find a garage, and you don't need to drive on a flat tyre — doing so can ruin a wheel that was otherwise repairable. Stay where you are: a beach car park in Lacanau-Océan, a pitch at your campsite among the pine trees, a hotel car park, or simply the roadside where the car stopped. Tell us the location — the name of the campsite, the street, or a landmark — and the van comes to you.

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Tyres don't wait for opening hours, and neither do we. Whether it's the middle of the afternoon or the middle of the night, call the same number and describe what happened: a flat tyre discovered in the morning, a slow puncture from the day before, a dead battery after the car sat unused for a week at a rental property. A surcharge applies at night, on Sundays and on public holidays; it is always confirmed on the phone before the van sets off, never added afterwards.

Tyres are always sold and fitted by pairs, never as a single unit. A surcharge for night hours, Sundays and public holidays is confirmed on the phone, before the van leaves Lacanau.

On the motorway? Call 112 or use the orange emergency phone first

On a motorway, a dual carriageway, a slip road or a service area, French law requires that only an approved motorway recovery operator handles the vehicle, reached through the roadside orange emergency phone or by calling 112. This is a safety rule, not a formality. Once your vehicle has been moved off the motorway — to a car park or an ordinary road — Florian's team can take over the tyre or battery repair on the spot.
